A stay on the lower slopes or in the surrounding countryside may better suit a trip with several outings. Compare actual addresses, road access, parking and the journey to your evening meal. A wide view in a listing is not evidence of an easy walk to the town.
For a villa or apartment, confirm which facilities are private, any seasonal opening of pools, cleaning arrangements and cancellation terms. For a hotel, ask about restaurant service and the access to the exact room category. Make the decision on confirmed details, not on a cover photograph alone.
